LED animations

Arsenal 2 includes three LED indicators. This article explains what the light and patterns tell you about your device. Animations below are shown on the Arsenal 2 Standard please note that the LED patterns are the same on the Arsenal 2 Pro model.

Blue Power Indicator

The blue indicator on the top of your Arsenal 2 illuminates when the device is powered on. It will remain on until the device is powered off.

Orange Charging Indicator

The small orange indicator on the top of your Arsenal 2 illuminates when the device is charging. It will turn off when charging is complete.

Blue LED Bar

The blue LED indicator bar on Arsenal 2's side indicates several modes and settings using animated light patterns. These include the following:

Arsenal 2 Startup

When Arsenal 2 is powered on, the blue bar will illuminate for several seconds then fill in from the edges to the center before going out:

Arsenal 2 Shutdown

When Arsenal 2 is turned off, the bar will shrink from the edges to the center, then disappear:

Firmware Update

When Arsenal 2 is performing an update the blue LED bar will load from left to right. On the Arsenal 2 Standard, the power button LEDs will also do a swirling animation to indicate the firmware update is in progress. Once completed the LED bar will go out and leave just the power LED lit solid blue.

Handheld Mode: Activated

Double-tap the power button to activate Handheld Mode. When Handheld Mode is accessed, the bar will slowly fill in a scattered pattern, then blink twice:

Handheld Mode: No Camera Detected

When you enter handheld mode and Arsenal 2 does not see a camera connected over USB the blue bar will double-blink on the left and right until a camera is connected or the device is powered off:

Handheld Mode: Photo Review Gesture

Tilt the camera 90 degrees down towards the ground and Arsenal 2 will pause updates to the camera's settings to allow photo review.

Power Level Indicator

Hold and press the power button down for 3 seconds. Arsenal 2's LED bar will illuminate to indicate the battery level.
